A lovely 1930s semi-detached house with a large garden and a very spacious cabin/studio. The property, which occupies a non estate location, lies within walking distance of the town centre and Framlingham's excellent schools. The house, which is centrally heated by gas-fired radiators, has been extended and sympathetically updated by the present owners who have taken pains to preserve the character and original architectural details. The accommodation offers tremendous versatility and includes three large first floor bedrooms which are served by a fabulous family bathroom. The sitting room has a bay window and a pretty fireplace with a wood burner. The kitchen has been opened up into the old dining room to create a contemporary open plan kitchen/dining/living room which is well appointed with fitted units and features a lovely old Rayburn range in addition to the integrated oven and gas hob. There is a useful downstairs shower room/utility room and a light and airy family room at the back of the house which has a vaulted ceiling with inset sky lights, and French windows that open out onto the garden. The garden, which benefits from south sun, is a notable feature of the property. It is large, private and is laid to lawn with stocked flower beds, established trees, a wildlife pond and sun deck. There is a timber shed, a brick shed (attached to the single garage) and the very large Cabin/Studio which has its own wood burning stove and has potential for multiple uses as a home office or creative studio space. The driveway, at the front of the house, is accessed via a five bar gate and affords ample off street parking in front of the single garage. An internal inspection is essential to appreciate the character and style of this well-maintained family home which offers a wonderful alternative to living on a new estate. We strongly recommend an early appointment to view.
